Jade Pruett launched HelloSEO in 2020 as a side hustle while working in-house in SEO for major publishers including CNN and Business Insider. She loved seeing how the SEO strategies she learned at big companies could make a huge difference for small businesses.

In 2022, she took HelloSEO full time. Since then, she has grown HelloSEO into a full-service agency, worked with hundreds of businesses, and continued to see firsthand the impact strong search visibility can have.

Jade mentors through Women in Tech SEO and the Boyd Innovation Center and recently served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business.

She is featured in Majestic's SEOin2026 and was named to MSN's list of self-made women to watch in 2026. Jade speaks on SEO, artificial intelligence, bootstrapping, and the increasingly important role human connection plays in a search landscape shaped by technology.

Jade is also a co-founder of MetaMonster, a content optimization platform built for SEO agencies and professionals.

Jade’s relationship with MetaMonster began as a customer. She was an early power user of the product and quickly became a trusted source of feedback, sharing ideas about search, product development, and growth with the founding team.

Over time, those conversations turned into a deeper collaboration. Jade began helping shape how MetaMonster approached SEO work and served its users. One founder even joined HelloSEO as an intern to better understand the day-to-day challenges of agency work. It became clear that the team’s values aligned and that there was more they could build together.

Jade joined MetaMonster as a co-founder in May 2026. Today, she serves as the team's resident SEO subject-matter expert, growth marketer, and advocate for the search community as they build tools designed for the next era of search.
